Proteris Compliance Solutions provides compliance software and services related to the sale and financing of finance and insurance (F&I) products in the automotive, marine, powersport, and RV industries.
Proteris was founded by Zack Pechter, an attorney specializing in automotive financial compliance. Zack started his career as an attorney at Holland & Knight before becoming Managing Counsel for Toyota Financial Services. While at Toyota Financial Services, Zack experienced the industry’s pain points regarding the F&I compliance process firsthand. Zack founded Proteris Compliance Solutions to address those pain points.
The Proteris team includes attorneys and compliance professionals with decades of experience working on legal teams, compliance teams, and product teams for each of the protection products that we review. We use our industry experience and knowledge to decrease lenders’ regulatory and litigation risk to the maximum extent, while decreasing the cost of compliance for the entire industry.
Proteris has software and service offerings for lenders, product providers, and administrators. Proteris’ offerings relate to the following categories of products: guaranteed asset protection (GAP), warranties, vehicle service contracts, prepaid maintenance plans, tire and wheel protection, key replacement, windshield protection, paintless dent repair, excess wear and use waivers, theft protection, surface protection, vehicle protection products, vehicle value protection agreements, and credit life and disability insurance.
